How to translate AutoCAD
drawings from one language to another:
The DwgTextTranslator is a powerful tool if you need to
translate a series of drawings from one language to another.
You can for instance translate a series of English drawings to
Chinese ones with a few steps. |
Conventional methods:
When AutoCAD drawings need to be translated into a different
language, conventional methods are expensive, slow and prone
to error. |
Problems when translating
manually:
Text can be difficult to find on complex drawings, all texts
may not be found.
The translator must be familiar with AutoCAD.
BLOCK entities containing TEXTS and variable ATTRIBUTES may
cause problems.
The procedure may be extremely slow. |
Benefits of using the
DwgTextTranslator:
Allows the translator to concentrate on the translation work.
The translator does not have to work in the AutoCAD
environment.
The graphical formatting of elements stays unaffected after
the translation.
Translated files might be produced in hours, not days. |

responsable for the actual translation, or it can be translated
using a translation software tool, such as Systran, Trados, or
